FACT-CHECKING IN A CRUMBLING DEMOCRACY: Implementation of “Sem Migué” platform during local elections in São Luís

The aim of this research is to test the applicability a collaborative and decentralized model fact-checking during 2020 elections in São Luís/MA. was materialized into platform called “Sem Migué”, which volunteers had opportunity publish their own fact checks form verification forums. experiment seeks investigate how practice could help participants deal with disinformation. results will be used as resources development an updated version model.
